First sex with new partner, it's been a LONG time, all ok down there???

I'll try and be quick and to the point! I'm 38, DS2 is 14 months, I haven't had sex since he was conceived and I left my husband 8 months ago. I also haven't had sexual contact with anyone other than my ex for 18 years!!

I have met a man I really fancy and sex is imminent - will everything be OK down there or will he be grossed out?? Things look a bit looser and flappier these days and much less neat and tidy, and I also think I have a slight prolapse inside, which I can feel with my finger and see with a mirror. (Sorry if TMI)

Help - reassurance needed ASAP!!!!!

It will all be absolutely fine as long as you are both keen as mustard, which you sound as though you will be.

WowserBowser · 07/01/2015 16:11

No decent man cares.

Doctor about the prolapse though?

RandomNPC · 07/01/2015 16:16

Speaking as a man myself, we don't care what your genitals look like. By the time he sees them, it'll be the last thing on his mind. He might even be very worried about you judging his! After all, ours look sillier than yours.

Going to see the doc next week, but I think the sex might come first!! ;)

Random, fantastic post

Granville72 · 07/01/2015 19:40

I'm sure all will be absolutely fine. If he's a decent bloke and knows you've not had sex for a while then he should (hopefully) be understanding.

But as random says, most men don't care what it looks like, they're just happy to be having sex

Have fun and enjoy

I think I love you Random! Its something I worry about having been single for so long since having a baby. Good too know they don't care Smile

Prawncat, I was with my XH for 24 years and then celibate for almost three after he left. I seriously thought during that time that I would never have sex again and would turn into a mad cat lady. Eventually, I met a lovely chap and was absolutely f**king terrified at the thought of sleeping with him after so long with my XH and then no sex at all. You know what? It turns out he was terrified too, of not being able to perform. So as Random says, both men and women have their hang ups, but the important thing is that you enjoy yourself and start to get memories of sex with your XH out of your head! Create new ones with your new man...

Well done Random.
Hopefully there are many more like you out there.

For all the bullshit us men come out with, we are probably more nervous than most women.go for it !

Prawncat · 13/01/2015 10:28
