Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all you mners. I dont think I would have got to this point without you.
My ex left me 9 months ago for ow (after 20 years together) and now she's pregnant (3months). I spent the first few months in a daze and although I didn't post about it at the time, (although I have posted since) reading all the excellent advice given to others has helped enormously. You helped me find myself again and now I really couldn't give a toss about the ex or his ow now. I have gone nc with ex (despite having 4yo asd ds) as he seemed to enjoy rubbing my nose in his 'perfect' new life and also because he's a terrible father who won't accept ds is (severely) autistic, when he was allowed contact he would tell me he would take him to the park/zoo/funfair but was actually taking him to a grotty little pub. The last time I spoke to ex I told him to take me to court and we'd sort contact through them but surprise surprise we've heard nothing since.
Anyway, the point of this post is to say a big thanks, I feel like the person I used to be and my family have commented on how much happier I am now.
To anyone going through difficult times believe me it does get easier and you too will eventually realise how much better off you are.
