Omg I'm in shock.

I'm not with my sons father. My son is 5.

He just casually told me that his daddy took a picture of his butt and sent it to someone.

I asked him how he was standing and he showed me that he was laying on his back with his knees drawn to his chest and his anus exposed.

I'm shaking and in shock. What do I do? Shall I report it to the police?

The video he showed your son could be classed as porn. I'm so fucking angry on your behalf.

Good God, you poor thing! I think you have done exactly the right thing, by the way - and your mum is just having an old-fashioned "don't wash your dirty linen in public, keep it all behind closed doors, don't tell anyone the shameful secret shit" reaction which allowed so many abusers to get away with their appalling behaviour for so long. Ignore her completely.

Yes you might get a shitstorm after this but frankly, so long as it is in your DS's best interests (and protecting him from possible abuse always is) then let it come. More of it will be heaped onto your ex - and who the fuck was he sending the pic to anyway?? Without getting too melodramatic, he might be in some kind of paedophile ring, or know someone in one - and if he is, then FUCK him every which way and I hope he rots in jail for years. AND the people he sent it to.

(((hugs))) for you and your dear, sweet innocent son. I too can't believe how people can hurt children like that, but they do. Sick bastards, the lot of them. Angry

Op, I hope the police are useful. If I were you, I think I'd leave your mother out of the loop on this matter, she doesn't sound very helpful.
