Just wondering... Who has actually 'ended up' with their 'crush'?

How long were they a crush for beforehand, and how did it work out? Happily ever after, or awful?

Like I said, just wondering, being nosy.

I did - about 5-6 months of going red in their presence before he asked me out. Was good while it lasted, but it ran the course over about 15-18 months.

I did and he's now my DH. We met when I was 13 and I had a massive crush on him from then until 17 when I finally got up enough courage to ask him out! We've been together almost 13 years and married for 3 and a half years.

Me. Crush since sixth form.
Got together 15 years ago in our late 20s, married 10 years tomorrow :).

Married my school girl crush, lasted almost 13 years but to be honest we didn't actually have anything in common and it was a relief when it ended.

It was about six weeks before I could maintain eye contact with DH without blushing. I have never fancied anyone so much.

I'm used to him now

I fancied dh from the moment I saw him (very much a long time passed "school girl")

I eventually told him whilst atrociously drunk at a Christmas works' do

He was very nice about it but nothing happened for another 2 months after that. He told me later that he'd assumed I didn't really mean it since I couldn't possibly fancy him, and that he didn't want to take advantage of my vulnerable state since I was clearly at a delusional level of drunkenness.

I've told my story of our first kiss on here before. Just as he started to believe that I liked him, I decided to move hundreds of miles away for a new start.

We went out for a drink after work to essentially talk about how we liked each other, but agreed it wasn't to be.

We had a lovely chat, it was all very final. Then we walked out to go our separate ways. It was dark and drizzling slightly. I said a sad goodbye, started to walk away, and he took my hand, spun me back and kissed me.

Another month and I'd moved to the other side of the uk. 4 months later he moved nearby. In those intervening months he drove a 10 hour round trip every weekend to see me.

I am an excellent kisser.

I did! I worked with dh, he was senior to me and I had a MASSIVE crush on him. I could barely form a coherent sentence when in his company. There was natural chemistry between us but we were both seeing other people at the time so nothing happened. He left the company after a few months and I was really upset. Crush for 18months.

Married and v happy now.

I fancied him for 2 years previous to that, but it just never happened. Were never single at the same time etc. I had written him off when we suddenly clicked (had a drunken kiss on night out).

I did, once at university. My friends followed it like a romcom and it was fun when we actually decided to date.

It didn't end well. He was better in my head. Probably likewise for him.

One day, one day....

I did. We both worked part time in retail and I fancied him a LOT. Whenever he was on Changing Room duty I used to assign myself the job of tidying the clothes away from the Changing Room and used to take only 5/6 items at a time. When we were on Tills I used to log into the one next to him. Once in the staff room I thought he was flirting with a girl who was the polar opposite to me so just thought "ahhh if he fancies her then he will never fancy me, wr couldnt be more different". Then when he changed departments and worked stock room, I never saw him anymore. Til he MSN'd me (remember those days!!) and asled if wr could have a catch up ovrr a drink and, well, thats where is all began

Yes I have a work crush (as well as my three year crush, which this thread relates to), but he's quite new. He tried to kiss me in the cab on the way home from the Xmas party, but I pushed him away as it was his first week. Thugh I told him I though he was cute. Now, it's a bit, hmm... what now...
