Ex-SIL spying on me

Well, it looks like my ex-sil has been spying on me for months whilst I have posted under this username and others.

And then she showed them to my stbxh. (who was having another emotional affair on me and in fact, left me for her)

Signing off on this username now, obviously.

Sounds like the STBXH can't be X S enough :) What did she hope to gain?

Reasons why, I can only speculate.

Personally, my instincts tell me I think she hates her brother for the things he did to her as a child and did this to not only hurt him but also to hurt me as she has always been petty and jealous of me. A strange hate/possessive with him.

The elephant in the room for years.

This happened to me. She was spying on me and actually had me to stay in her house and quizzed me about stuff she already knew the answer to as she'd been reading everything on here. As had stbx. As had various friends of his - one of whom would monitor everything I wrote here and report back.

You have my utmost sympathies. It really is very nasty.

She should be utterly ashamed of herself.

I'd have posted about winning the lottery/getting married/STBX caught dogging and see what the fallout was while I sat back and laughed.

did your sil know your username and take the opportunity to pass information on to your xh? or have you posted such identifyable information on here that your sil has happened to recognise you from your posts?

because IMO there is a difference. While passing on information to your xh is a bit shit, mn isn't anonymous - if you are recogniseable on here from the detail you post then you can't really be upset if someone recognises you. And how many people can honestly say that if they recognised someone through their posts they wouldn't read on?

she shouldn't be giving information to your xh, but the rest is just one of the pitfalls of posting identifyable information on a public platform.

have you posted such identifyable information on here that your sil has happened to recognise you from your posts? Identifyable to her, yes. To anyone else, no. 'Happened to recognise me?' Only if she 'happened to' over the course of a number of usernames over the past few months....
