I am single. Can't see this changing and I'm not unhappy - rather I'm learning not to be unhappy.

But I'm wondering what other single people do about things like:

Weekends away
Holidays
Restaurants

And so on? Sometimes I feel like I'm not living as full a life as I'd like because I'm single and I know I could do these things alone - I don't think I really want to though.

Any advice?

Resent not reset.

I support looking at a meet up group! I am not brave enough to do that but I suppose my voluntary/hobby groups (a couple of sports clubs and charities) are essentially just that though. Most of the people I meet are older (I'm 20s) married women and men but it's still something social and that's enough really. I always feel quite grateful when I am in no rush after finishing something and everyone else os flustered because X will be wanting his Y or Z is expecting him home and P will be in a foul mood because they're late, etc!
