In trouble again!

So im in the bad books again it seems, although from the lack of speaking Im not 100% sure.

H came to my office today as a man was leaving, I think he thinks something is going on, its isn't though!! Yes I speak with other men, sometimes even have a laugh with them, is this soooooo wrong lol!!

Anyway home now and im getting silent treatment, I think because of earlier, god only know. Sorry needed to get that out x

He popped in a visit, my office is open to the public so quite a few people come and go. Im just done with it all, seriously cracking. Horrible thing was I felt like i had done something wrong when I saw him approach. Why have I become this person?

Because he's conditioned and bullied you into it - i suspect his "visit" is more like "checking up".....horrible man, don't give him any airtime, my first LTB X

My relationship was exactly like that, we were together 23 years and it just got worse and worse. I was on and off antidepressants for most if it. I left 18 months ago and haven't had any ADs for over a year and feel like a totally different person. I met my new DP very quickly but it's completely different. I have male friends, he has female friends and for the first time in my life I can actually be me and I'm so happy.

In fact 18 months on people still comment on how happy I look.

There are those who are genuinely worried about their partners, I was one of them. This wasn't so much because I mistrusted my husband, more that I couldn't see why he'd be with me when there were better out there. Yes, I'd been cheated on my a previous partner. No, I didn't manipulate though.

He understood as he was my best friend before my partner and knew the history. It took time for me to realise he lives me as much as I love him but those early days were hard for me.

Then there's the nasty controlling and manipulative bastards out there who just take every opportunity to emotionally abuse.

I take it he's one of the second lot rather than somebody who fears something bad will happen because one day you'll suddenly come to your senses and ditch him as he's not worthy.

I used to run a pub. We had a beautiful barmaid one summer, waiting to go to university. She had a fecking horrid boyfriend who spent his afternoons at the end of the bar clicking his fingers at her to stop her talking to other men.
Until I noticed him and barred the little bastard. She took a couple of years to earn her cop on and dump him. He ended up giving her a few backhanders first.
Bastard.

I do hope you give him the silent treatment for longer than he gives it to you. He deserves it. See how he likes them apples.

That's him speaking again, being all nicey nice!

That's me guilty again wondering if I am doing something wrong by speaking to other males and even maybe considering having male friends.

When I feel strong enough I will change things, he is pushing me to be a stronger person though, he doesn't even realise it.
