tinder???

Newly single. . Not looking for an ego stroke (well maybe a little bit)..I signed up to tinder. My my my! What a sweet shop! I had to close it down in the end or else I would have been swiping all night! Is this just hook up site or is there a chance of finding true love? as long as its within a 3 mile radius

I've used Tinder and it isn't purely a hook up site. I've been on a few lovely dates and my friend has been dating a fella for five mths from there. You need to be clear right from the start as to what you want. I found it a very gentle intro to online dating after being in a relationship for 20 years. The only issue is the distance - my best matches were always 100s miles away even though I've set it at 30k. I've noticed that a few profiles now give an indication As to where they live which is useful.

i've seen quite a few pictures of the guy on his wedding day with his (ex?)wife! and quite a few with their kids too, which I don't get. And oh the tigers.

I'm in London, and haven't had issues with distance, as in everyone is about where it says they are.

Questions? Have you seen the same guy? I'll call him err.. Nathan?

Well. .. date was just a quick coffee. My god
Half an hour of my life I will never get back. He talked about his windows 8. His account and his physical fitness. he didn't let up and didn't ask me a single question about myself. Very nice looking but. .. next... its depressing.

I only had a quick go on my iPad but my 10 dd uses it so deleted the app.. and cannot get the app on a windows phone so I am grounded , so nothing to report...unsuccessfully trying Pof it's not good ...you women are heartless lol

I think you have to have a really tough skin.
Met a really lovely bloke God a drink but there was no spark and I feel awful as if roles were reversed I would feel very low.
However, a spark is important to me, I need that.
So three dates down - two ok and that one.
Still looking, not prepared to rush this...
