DH says I'm wrong of course but I just think something's are private without having to say anything. We have had major rows in the past because of him sharing financial circumstances, investments and just all round money issues. And this is the stuff he tells me he's spoken about so I do wonder what other details of our lives are open season.

However, it's not just the big stuff it's everything we do or visit or eat. The latest was last night he mentioned a conversation with the office he had about my friends latest business venture that she had been asking for advice from us at the weekend.

I'm self employed so don't have an office to compare, but to be honest privacy aside he actually sounds like a bit of a brag and a bit of a bore.

These conversations are mostly with groups of people and I
get small talk but am I being to precious at the thought of my life been the daily topic.

Just as a note I have noticed he seems to be impressed with gossip more and more.

He's a dull man trying to make himself sound interesting, I expect. That's the usual reason people brag. Inadequate.

Share? Less when I was working. Now, as they know who I am on MN, if they're interested, they can know everything.

As they're busy people, I assume they don't give a damn and I carry on regardless.
