Obviously I'm excited and all but this will be the longest we've spent together- two weeks!- and I'm rather nervous about what awful habits he'll have and see. Any tips?

Don't pick your nose or fart unless he's already done so. Don't panic and have fun!

Is it abroad?

Lots of nice underwear of course, and nightwear doesn't have to stay on long.

I know this is a bit TMI but I would take immodium AND senokot. Just in case!

I hope you have a lovely time and come back more in love than ever Grin

Oh god what a good idea. It's the close proximity of the bathroom that's bothering me most!!

Make a joke of it. Tell him that while you're sure he thinks you poo flowers and we unicorn tears, you might need to admit that occasionally poo does come out too??
He's probably embarrassed about it too. Try talking to him!!! GrinGrin

Blueistheonlycolour · 12/09/2014 21:15

Sorry, WEE not we!!!

Cabrinha · 12/09/2014 22:05

You're worried about using a bathroom near him? Really?
Have you never gone in each other's houses?
Why not make a point of doing that before you go away?

YellowTulips · 12/09/2014 22:56

Just relax......

Upshot is if you are nervous about everything it will show and quite likely be a bit irritating!

If he is "the one" then the odd faux pas (or fart pas Wink) won't matter a bit.

Have a lovely time Thanks

I think it's normal to feel apprehensive! The first time I went away with my new man after an 18 year relationship had ended was quite scary. When we got to the apartment it was tiny and the shower room was only separated by a slightly frosted glass door. Bit awkwaaaard when you're just getting used to a new situation... but turned out fine. And at least he didn't barge into the bathroom when I was in there, sit down on the lav and do a stinky poo (yet another thing 'I don't miss about my ex'!!!).

jogonby · 12/09/2014 23:55

I had the same worry earlier this year while on our first trip abroad. i avoided it all week by using the hotel lobby toilet for longer visits, and our en-suite for wees. I know this is totally ridiculous but its a real worry!

LatteLoverLovesLattes · 13/09/2014 00:02

It will be fine and if it's not fine it's good to rule them out early on :)

chrome100 · 13/09/2014 09:20

I've been with my DP for 3 years and I'd still never use an en-suite for a poo!

This was you need to take.
