A question about online dating

Hi, someone on here once said that you can join a dating site and hide your profile. You can contact who you want to but people don' t see your details until you have made contact.

This would suit me perfectly because the thought of all and sundry seeing my profile makes me feel queazy.

My question is do you know which sites allow this? Many many thanks.

I don't know. Encouraged by various counsellors I do use dating sites. But I never post photos.

I take your point about not posting a photo Humble, but I think photos are important.

or, they just don't want people generally to know they are looking for someone. if you already have people expressing interest, but don't want to take up with them, and they spot you online... men are weird, they think if you'll go with one of them you'll go with them all.
