this is a bit more generic than Mumsnet and have a chatterbank section just for random stuff.

I have been using netmums for years, only problem with there is you cant use nicknames and always worry about posting personal stuff, I go on for selling and use their meet a mum its easy for other users to see your back history so I am always weary about what I talk about. They are also lots stricter on swearing and move posts willy nilly which find annoying think the mods are on bit of a power trip at times. Not been on for a while may have to nip back over :)
