Do you ever look at your DH

from other women's perspectives? I do. Not sure why I do it, but sometimes find myself wondering if other women would find him attractive.

No can't say I've ever done that.

Although I know some people are envious I've got him.

BitterAndOnlySlightlyTwisted · 30/08/2014 20:44

When I'm in love with someone there's never a doubt in my mind that they do.

Ludways · 30/08/2014 20:45

Yes sometimes, he's a good looking, well groomed man and attracts attention, he then opens his mouth, says something ridiculously dorky and I know he's all mine again! Lol

HygieneFreak · 30/08/2014 20:46

I don't know if it's the way other women would look at him, but I do look at him with fresh eyes fairly often. We've been together years and years and he's become a different person as he ages. Still fit, in fact he is probably physically fitter now as he does more sport through work. When I see old photos of him, I do miss the sweet shy 20yo I fell in love with, he was great (and I miss his hair! I loved to run my fingers through it when we took a drive together), but I find my DH incredibly sexy as he gets older. He's more confident but in a Mills & Boon masterful-man-knowing-what-he-wants kinda way...

Horsemad · 30/08/2014 21:30

Yes, my DH is very good looking and confident too. Perhaps that's why I do it, as maybe I'm aware he'd be attractive to other women.

It's not a possessive thing, just that I can see how he'd not be short of offers if he was on the market!

Is your dh bald now then? Grin

morethanpotatoprints · 30/08/2014 21:37

Sorry, that came out wrong the Grin was you missing it, not that he may be bald x

LEMmingaround · 30/08/2014 21:50

Sometimes i see me dp in a crowd etc and think phwoooaarr even after 22 years

ChangelingToday · 30/08/2014 22:11

I'm the same Lemming! I still think dh's bloody gorgeous, ok I admit it I smell his shirts when he's away for a few days. I still get tingles when he kisses me. I always imagine loads of women fancy him!

DameEdnasBridesmaid · 30/08/2014 22:18

My DH is not short of offers. He's very charming, as well as being handsome. Women are always coming on to him, including work colleagues. It annoys me as it is so obvious and a bit pathetic

Mr Potato Head? Grin

OhMyArsingGodInABox · 30/08/2014 22:32

Sometimes I look at my darling husband (Lumpy Mcbentface as he's affectionately known) and I am simply overcome with a lustful twanging in my banjo area. He looks just like an older, fatter Joey from friends. Blisteringly handsome.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 30/08/2014 22:32

Grin boffy.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 30/08/2014 22:33

Oh now you've killed me

Horsemad · 30/08/2014 22:36

Riiiiighht Hmm This is turning very very odd!

OP posts:
OhMyArsingGodInABox · 30/08/2014 22:38

Gigitty.

crazylady321 · 30/08/2014 23:02

Yes always think this. Now know hes not everyones cup of tea but hes mine :)
Hes says in the past people havent gone for him for his looks but his charm, so when I see him chatting innocently at other women inparticular one of my neighbours way he has her giggling in the street cant help but think. I know its innocent and shes deffinately not his type but I keep jokingly calling her his admirer :)

Horsemad · 30/08/2014 23:07

I usually have a little laugh to myself and think if only they knew what he's like to be married to!

He's definitely NOT the person he portrays himself as. Wink

OP posts:
MishMooshAndMogwai · 30/08/2014 23:13

I try not to, my DP is definitely one that becomes more attractive through his personality rather than blistering good looks Wink

gertiegusset · 30/08/2014 23:30

Oh, LumpyMcBentface, how I do crave thee.
Get's better with age, like a fine single malt.

Sallystyle · 30/08/2014 23:40

Yep, especially when I watch him walk out the shops or something.

He is very handsome and I know others find him attractive because they always tell me while no one mentions me

Sallystyle · 30/08/2014 23:43

And he is a really lovely charming and kind person.

People go crazy over him.

I am the opposite.. average looking, no one looks twice at me (except dh) and I am not as likeable as him either Grin
