Another OD question, sorry

I'm on a few OD sites but rarely get chatting to anyone I'd be interesting in meeting up with.

Now, I don't want any children of my own which obviously limits men who would be interested in me, but I do get a fair few messages due to an over generous profile pic!

The thing is, many of the men who message state in their profiles that they do want children. Confused Obviously I can't start questioning men about their intent with regards family after one message, but is there any point pursuing a relationship with a man who appears to want totally different things from me?

Only asking because a really nice looking, seemingly intelligent man has messaged me, but his profile states he wants children.

Perhaps I'm over thinking but all views welcome.

Have you considered they have said this because they mistakenly think this is what women are looking for?

Blueuggboots · 26/08/2014 16:18

Sorry, should say all women...

rockup · 26/08/2014 16:19

what does OD mean?

CatKisser · 26/08/2014 16:19

Hmm, no I hadn't considered that - that seems fairly idiotic but not impossible I suppose...
I replied to the nice guy anyway and he seems quite pleasant!

aha..tis a minefield :)

CatKisser · 26/08/2014 16:48

Tis indeed. Sometimes I think you're better off with the deligtful cock shots and "ride my face" messages. At least you know where you are with them!! Grin

cockshots, does any think thats really going to impress the ladies...really??

CatKisser · 26/08/2014 17:05

I just imagine a poor lonely man sitting there with his camera wondering "now which will get me a date? Face or cock? Face....or...cock?

hmmm I would say most men would say generally that they want children - by that they mean they are possibly open to having a child at some unspecified point in the future... not "I would like a family in the next 5 years" kinda thing. People who are open about wanting to be child free are quite rare in my limited experience of life, maybe cos its a bit of a taboo...

But - the cynic in me agrees with blueuggboots
