i am on the mini pill and have been for about 6 months my periods are all over the place well 2 months ago they just stopped and i had no bleeding what so ever anyway last week i had a period and it was heavy but only lasted 4 days. the night it finished i had sex with my husband (not rough) and the morning after i went to the loo to find streaks of blood with clear discharge (fresh blood) then nothing. i had sex again that night and the same thing happened again the following morning but after the steaks of blood i had very light pinky blood all day when i wiped after a wee. i didn't have sex last night and woke up today with nothing so only happened after sex im worried as all things fall on cervical cancer! im worried can anyone help???

It could be a cervical erosion. Not serious as I understand but you will need to make an appointment at the docs to get checked out.

Go to see your GP and get checked out. No point fretting and worrying yourself needlessly by googling the internet and asking strangers on the internet.

I'm sure it is nothing, but your GP is the best person to be asking Flowers

I had this for a long time (years) and it was nothing in the end and has stopped now but it gave me a lot of sleepless nights. In most cases they never find out why. So many possible reasons...hormones, cervical erosion, rough sex...

Go and get checked out to be on the safe side but don't fret

I had this (not with mini pill though) and also convinced myself it was cervical or ovarian cancer!
I had an ultrasound scan and they found a cyst. They measured it and then I went back in 6 weeks for a rescan but it had gone by itself. It was my understanding that if it had grown then they would have removed it.
Definitely best to get yourself checked out for your own peace of mind if nothing else.

It's most probably a cervical erosion which isn't nearly as bad as it sounds. Grin

They are very common, especially if you are on the pill and easily treated. I've had it on at least 2 occasions and the treatment for the last one, many years ago, seems to have done the trick.
