DH has been living in Hong Kong for almost three years... I'm still in London with the kids. Kids schooling and my work keeps me here - he doesn't want to have to choose between family and career (and I'm afraid he might choose career,) so we just spend holidays together and Skype on Sunday. Stuck in the nether-land between being married (but no husband present, thus not fitting in with the other marrieds) and single (but not looking for a new relationship, and a bit old for the singles groups) I'm finding it nearly impossible to build any sort of social life. I work full time and kids are older (youngest 10) so no real school-gate network opportunities... even the "Meet-Up" sites don't seem to have a group for those of us on our own but not single. Any suggestions or anyone want to start a Friday pub night catch up in Central London?
