How much does a divorce cost?

My partner is still married to his ex, they have no kids no assets and have been split for over 4 years she has 2 kids with someone else and I have one on the way so I can imagine it will be strait forward just want an idea on cost? And how long it will take ?

£410 if you file on your own. They will have to do a financial order too not sure of costs. I filed mid June and ex hasn't defended case. Applied for decree nisi mid July so waiting on judge's decision now

Divorce itself is relatively cheap. The timescales depends on how quickly papers get filled in etc and court backlogs.
