He's always distracted and it annoys me SO much

I find it so annoying that dh is always distracted by something or other, never properly listening to me - he's either reading or watching telly or on the computer and I hardly ever feel that he's 100 % listening to what I'm saying. We keep having rows about it, but he never changes. Anybody else's dh/dp the same?

grrrrr, this is my dp too! i can have ten 'conversations' with him about something and he'll still not remember!

like shhhh's dh if i stop talking in annoyance he takes a while to register, then says 'it's ok, i was listening' while still staring at pc or sometimes even having wandered into the next room

but if hes talking to me god forbid i don't give him 100% of my attention!

Is there supposed to be some difference between the male and female brain which means men genuinely don't hear what women say? I think it's a timbre of the female voice - they do genuinely hear other men much better.
