that dh away for the week and I am actually enjoying it ;-)
anyone else feel that way when their dh's away - feel awful but it's nice just to be able to relax and not worry about someone else and what mood they are going to be in!

Absolutely love it. My own space, own schedule

ROUNDandROUNDINCIRCILESMORETHA · 29/07/2014 23:03

and whatever on the tv ;-)

It's not bad, it's great.

Would it be so good though if it was permanent? If the answer is yes, you have a problem.

HappyJustToBe · 29/07/2014 23:05

I enjoy not having to find something we both like for dinner but when DH is away the washing fairy leaves too and I have to make sure I've got clean gym stuff.

MairzyDoats · 29/07/2014 23:08

Oh mine too! And it's lovely, we had cheese toasties for tea, I can be online whenever I like (I do anyway, but now I feel no guilt) and the whole bed is MINE! :D

ROUNDandROUNDINCIRCILESMORETHA · 29/07/2014 23:08

No I wouldn't see this as permanent - it's just nice though to have my own time for a bit, and the hope the time apart will help him appreciate me more and what I do for him. it's easy to take each other for granted isn't it.

I really love it for one or two nights, but after that I start just feeling sad.

The first night is always awesome though!

BitterAndOnlySlightlyTwisted · 29/07/2014 23:29

If I was in a relationship where I worried about what mood they are going to be in, I'd know it was the wrong relationship with the wrong partner. The hell with that!

SarcyMare · 29/07/2014 23:30

Oh the whole bed is just too much goodness

singaporefling · 29/07/2014 23:30

Love my DH... Really!! But LOVE the bed/bathroom/kitchen etc to myself - not having to think about anyone else for a while!

HappyGirlNow · 29/07/2014 23:50

Why do you have to worry what mood he's in???

ROUNDandROUNDINCIRCILESMORETHA · 30/07/2014 00:23

things have been a bit crap recently. I think we are slowly coming out of it though and he is starting to accept how he has behaved and needs to do something about his low mood- I have put posts on here before so won't go into it now. but yes, it has been a bit wonder what mood he will be in at the weekend. :/

Not a good way to be wondering if the person you live with is going to be in a good mood or not...perhaps it's an indication that you would actually be happier if he stayed away permanently.

toyoungtodie · 30/07/2014 16:51

I like it for while. I can sleep in the middle of the bed and watch the TV as I am awake at two a.m as I am frightened on the first night. Big house, remote location, think Scary Movie etc. I can also munch on crisps and stuff that even I think I shouldn't be eating. However after a couple of days I want him back and have fantasises about his beautiful body.

ROUNDandROUNDINCIRCILESMORETHA · 30/07/2014 22:39
