Threats from STBXH - is this harrassment?

Split up 18 months ago. He has been with someone else for 7/8 months but still sends me text message criticising me and found out this morning that he had a rant about me on Facebook only yesterday.

An example of recent text messages include -

The last day of school arrangements - buffet at a local pub and park across the road (that I helped sort out) are inappropriate, I need to change the venue. This incidentally is the pub he frequents and takes our DS to after every City home game.

Telling me he would prefer me to stay away from my son's football matches as it makes him uncomfortable. He coaches the team and has threatened to get someone else to run it if I go again.

I am not allowed to take a bag for my DC to school at the end of the day(overnight stuff) as it is his pick up day and I am encroaching on his time with his DC. He will pick the bag up at a time that suits him.

Also received phone calls where he has sworn at me, blatantly lied about things he has done and said.

BTW I do not respond to any of the text messages and I do not take phone calls from him anymore but I am sick and tired of this intimidation and am seriously considering speaking to my solicitor about harassment. Would I have a case?

just get a strongly worded solicitors letter

I wouldn't call any of this harassment or intimidation but it definitely falls into the "being bloody awkward and petty just to get a rise from you" territory. But you're not rising to the bait so he's upped his game on FB, so just bloody-well block him if you haven't already

He's a prize pillock but I expect you've known this for some time, hence the STBXH

Yes he is blocked Bitter it was a friend who showed me that rant this morning.

I've decided I will be speaking to my solicitor in the morning and getting a letter sent.
