Hello ladies, I know I posted last week in regards to some advice which was great.

Well totally unrelated I had my scan on Monday to find out Was 13 weeks exactly so nearly 2 weeks further than thought, This is my 5th baby (i have a set of twins so cheated) I took it all in my stride but was so overwhelmed at seeing how my OH was, bless him. Although he has a son already he was filling up which is odd to see a big 6ft beef head :)

After scan he suggested nipping to town wanting to look for his mum a birthday present, went to a jewellers and I said so you getting your mum something from here and his reply "no, im buying you a ring!!" Pulled me to 1 side and asked me to marry him... Was getting some funny looks hate attention, just burst out laughing out of embarrasment. He said do i have to get down on my knee then in front of people. Haha I cant get over it, got back to car and was in tears set him off ha. He said he had it planned all along but I dont know maybe caught up in emotions of scan. Anyhow I have a gorgeous ring, will be waiting till babys here before make any plans though. Eeek cant stop smiling.

Now if you read my post last week about his ex and how awkward shes been regarding their son staying at our house. He is telling her about baby and engagement tonight so that she knows for when he tells his son. Im not as wound up by her now anyway im too happy to care but wonder how she will react. Even though shes married and has 2 other children their seems to be this jealousy there Confused

Oh congratulations.
That's lovely news.
Try not to worry about her reaction.
Just bask in the happiness you have with your OH.
Bless him, how sweet!

Thanks love, couldnt be happier at moment never felt so content :)

Everyone knows now anyway and weve had loads of congratulations, his parents have offered to throw us an engagement bash but hate the attention, If they are offering to fund it then i know it sounds cheeky but would rather save whatever it would cost to go towards the wedding. Surprisingly his ex doesnt seem too bothered either but their son is over the moon
