When I first got with my DH he wore glasses. For some reason I have always had a problem with men in glasses but I really liked him (obviously) so I didn't let it bother me. A few months later I addressed him about it and we agreed he would try contact lenses which he did and then stopped wearing them as they were making his eyes sore. I was furious and he agreed he would just try to get by without glasses/contacts apart from when he was driving.

Anyway just lately he has been suffering from headaches, he went to the doctor who told him to see his optician and they are now on at him to wear his glasses again and his friend has told him to ignore me and wear them!

I'm so angry with him, he never stands up for me and always takes other peoples opinions over mine as if I don't matter. I'm sick of people interfiering . Now I don't know whether to let him wear the glasses and give him the silent treatment everytime he has them on or stick to my guns.

bless her trolly little boots, she's working up the courage to do rude words next

HappyDaddy · 07/09/2006 13:30

The problem clearly is that if he wears glasses, he'll see her for the ugly person she is and he'll be out of there!

With any luck.

oops - should have read the rest of the thread - I was just so amazed at the original post !

ComeOVeneer · 07/09/2006 13:30

LOL pashmina. Admit it guys, how many of you did a quick check on the OP before posting??

Thomcat · 07/09/2006 13:31

PMSL - that KiwiL sat and thought that up all it's own! How very clever and totally amusing of it. It really had us going didn't it. What a laugh.

Twiglett · 07/09/2006 13:31

Twiglett, quite simple. Carving knife in the night, blame it on an intruder. (Wear latex gloves, a little trick from CSI).

That'll teach him not to value your opinions that noses are bad.

basboseh · 07/09/2006 13:33

sorry but you are so selfish
imagine that you NEEDED to wear glasses someday!!
its about his health.if you realy loved him youll understand.

Twiglett · 07/09/2006 13:34

hmmmmmm carving knife eh?

1Baby1Bump · 07/09/2006 13:36

Blu · 07/09/2006 13:37

Surely KiwiL is a cousin of SweetMaria?

I knew it was a troll...I was just playing her/him along! (against the Mn troll policy, I know )

Flamesparrow · 07/09/2006 13:39

Please tell me this thread is a joke!

If he wears the contacts then he will start to have affairs - tis a known fact - you can't trust them what wear contacts all the time, they are being shifty and trying to hide their blindness from the world... glasses wearers are honest about it

HappyDaddy · 07/09/2006 13:41

He needs glasses cos porn addiction ruined his eyesight. Without glasses he can't see where she is so can't hit her.

Blu · 07/09/2006 13:43

Kiwi - it does possibly explain why he has been shagging all your friends (and some of mine, apparantly!)- he can't tell you apart when he isn't wearing his glasses.

1Baby1Bump · 07/09/2006 13:47

what will i do if my greying dh finds he needs to wear glasses too?

misdee · 07/09/2006 13:52

are you scared he will realise you are ugly on the outside as well as the inside?

Kiwimaria is def. a regular poster (under another name obviously) without a doubt, so I'm pretty sure both the other 2 are one and the same.
