Hi ladies

I've been on match for 6 months and had a few dates in the beginning but since then.. nothing.... no one emails me... a few winks from people 15 years older etc but thats it... ive got a nice normal profile up and a nice pic...I dont get it?

What sites would u recommend for finding a nice normal decent guy who wants to go on a few dates and hopefully lead to more if we click? (not up for one night stands!!)

Personally, I think dating sites are shit for finding long term relationships. The clue is in the title really, they're 'dating' sites. I think women who are hoping to find The One are often disappointed. Obviously, it does happen, but not for most people.

I was on Match for 6 months, chatted to loads of men, and met up with 10. I've been seeing someone I met on there for about 6 months.

But I very much entered into it with a view to meeting people outside of my area, and a number of the men I met enhanced my life in some way - either because they introduced me to a new way of thinking about something; or a new experience; in one case a new hobby... I wasn't really looking for a relationship. I just wondered if any one would ever find me attractive again!

You said you've only had a few emails and winks from men much older, but how many emails do you send?

Guardian Soulmates, or my single friend. But you need to be proactive and contact guys you like, rather than wait for them.
