Hi, just need to do a little survey as to whether I am being unreasonable. Am 7 months pg with lovely 19 month old girl. Dh sends a text to say going for a quick drink after work at 6.30pm. Rings at 9pm (drunk) to say will be home at some time. I get v.angry on phone and so does he. Is this normal - am I overreacting? Only want a phone call to say won't be home for supper etc rather than a stupid text being vague

VVV - sorry....

itwas the 10/10 and smoking people that hijacked - I'll shuffle them all out now...back to their cages......

Pan you must realise by now that your groupies follow you wherever you go

Sweetpea, to make up in part for the appalling hijack of your thread by these reprobates, yes, it would have upset me too because I think it shows a lack of respect to leave another person worried about where you are. I think we can feel very vulnerable when pregnant, and need security and reliability. I do think that men can easily experience this as controlling behaviour though (as Pan has pointed out), so maybe try to explain how it makes you feel, and asking for his help, rather than criticising or attacking him.

I'd be cross if he did everytime he went for a quick drink, but on the odd occasion I wouldn't.

I don't even mind having drunken phonecalls at stupid o clock - I figure that it's my own fault for not switching my phone off!
