I have a 2 yr old and am currently working 9.30-2pm 4 days a week and then go out 3 eve a week cleaning. Most of the time this is after working till 2 having to pick up DD and then drop her at my mums and then go and do 3 hours cleaning.

According to DH this is only doing the same as a 28 hr week. Doesn't understand why i am tired, bearing in mind i have to take DD to nursery before Day job and pick her up after i finish and then take her home bath and feed her and then run her to Mums. I am knackered. DH can't see what the fuss is about. He works full time

Am i moaning about nothing? Job 1 pays nursery fees and petrol. Job 2 contributes to food. he pays bills.

No, you are not moaning. I suggest you leave him for an entire day w/her and see how he feels at the end of it.

Does he ever take care of your DD? Maybe he doesn't understand how tiring childcare can be?

SherlockLGJ · 23/07/2006 20:41

What an arse your DH is.

angelinaj · 23/07/2006 20:41

Yeah he has her and finds it O.K but he doesn't have to do it after working. We have had major arguments over this. I love him but cannot believe he thinks this way

So..........

Who loads and unloads the dishwasher, or for that matter washes up, and drys up.

Who loads and unloads the washing machine ??

Who loads and unloads the tumble drier, or hangs washing out and brings it in.......?

And that is before you get down to cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, downstairs bathroom.

I could go on, but I would bore myself...........

The house has gone to pot at the mo as i am not here much as you can imagine. We are having some building work done too which does not help. Normally he is very good about helping out but all he thinks about is getting this bloody house finished asap. I think it takes time and can be done in sequence.
