So, what time were you up this morning?

I was up at 12:30 am to settle dd who couldn't sleep through excitement.
Then she came in at 6 wanting to open her presents. Got in with us, and then went back to sleep for a couple of hours. Finally up at 7:45.

So I am well rested this fine Christmas morning ( not)

Went to bed the back of 2 DS got up at 3 and no chance of a sleep now absolutely exhausted.

I woke my kids at 6.45am as I couldn't believe that they were not running about excited that it's Xmas. I greeted my youngest with a big 'happy Christmas' and he looked at me all bleary eyed and said 'is it Christmas' in a very non excited way.
I think that I'm the only big kid in my house.

Up at 7.30 trying to Skype across the country, but no Internet connection, after 10 try's I gave up, will try later.

7am.
I had the alarm clock on to have time to prepare the turkey for lunch. I'm taking it to my parents'.

Plus roast potatos, sweet potatoes, rice and chestnuts.

DS was up at 8, although he had already opened his present last night at midnight.

err, I didn't get to bed till just gone 3am with littlest teething....then the boys woke us up at 5.15am! 'he's been he's been!' managed to delay present opening until 6.45....

Awoken by hungry kitties at 7am. Made enough noise at 9.30 to get my DD out of bed Xmas Grin.

Oven is on. Lippy is on. TV is on. Having cup of tea and quelling anxieties about not ruining the beef my DF spent a bloody fortune on for the dinner!!

Woke at 4 am ish... Youngest dd couldn't find me (bed swapping as DM is staying) ... Realised she had wet the bed, stripped bed etc.., then she was coughing... Calpol.. Back to bed... Up at 6 ish... Her and sister opened stockings... Then I went to put wee bed clothes in the machine and clear up dog wee. So, mostly wee-y Christmas .

Anyone else got several types of piss in their hands before 8am this morning?

I was awake by 4am. Dh made me go back to sleep until ds woke at 7am. We woke dd up and opened presents. Dh then went back to bed.

I've just woken him up and he is in the shower. I have been preparing lunch. Ds has been playing computer games and dd has been eating all her chocolate, amazed that she has been allowed.

I waited til 1am for older son to go to sleep so Santa could arrive...

He woke me up at 4.58.

I was woke by one very excited child at 5 am....I love the excitement...My meat was in slow cooker by 6am...

I was woken up by a thunder storm at about 3 this morning but DS1 didn't wake up until 8...amazed really.

I was awake at 1am then 2:30 then 4 for about an hour then asleep then finally up again at 6:30. I then sat in a semi conscious state for 40 mins whilst watching present opening. I then went back to bed until now when my ds woke me with the delicate sound of his new trumpet blasting in my ear. I have just eaten all the m&s chocs and any minute now I'm cracking open the prosecco. I'm not even washed. Hangs head in shame doesn't give a shit Happy Christmas everybody! Xmas Grin

DS came in to our room at 2am and 5am to ask if Santa had arrived yet . relented at 6am when DD woke up, too. Sleep deprivation abd champagne = dunno how I'm gonna cook dinner ...

7.15, after finally dropping off about 1.30, and waking up 4 or 5 times in between Sad. Went back to bed at 8.30 and slept well until 10 though. Can't even blame it on a little one, as my DS is 11. Just not sleeping well at the moment.

Woken by cat going berserk round the bedroom at 1:30.

Woken by child at 6:15. Slightly earlier than we had agreed but not too horrific. When I phoned a friend at 09:20 and he sounded like I'd woken him up I remembered normal people would not have been up for 3 hours at that point.

Went to bed at 2am. Kids woke up at 2:15. Talking repeatedly - so me repeatedly reminding them they need to sleep for santa.

3.45 i think they finally slept.

It was about i when i finally managed to drag myself out of bed.

I am so tired right now. But the kids are happy. 2 playing out on their bikesm 1 at their dads and the youngest messing on pc while i peel potatoes should be peeling them right now best get a move on!
