6 weeks of C/mas adverts
6 weeks of C/mas tv trailers
6 weeks of C/mas songs
6 weeks of Buble asking, baby please come home for C/mas
6 weeks of moody people trudging round shops not caring if they're in your way
6 weeks of C/mas decorations everywhere

3 months of tears over my H and OW
3 months of anxiety
3 months of uncertainty
3 months of game-playing from H
3 months of utter sadness
3 months of mental abuse

2 months of discovering myself
2 months of organising my life
2 months of lots of hugs from those who do love me
2 months of amazing support from MNers - you know who you are
2 months of Pilates (it does work)

2 days until it's all over
2 days until 2014 plan can start
2 days until I spend time with my loving family

1 year since I spent the most amazing last C/mas with my H after a tragic year

9 days until Sherlock episode 3!

It would have been my 11 year anniversary today but instead my H is on a 2 week holiday with OW.

It's tough, it hurts, the pain is immeasurable but, I have survived this year. I appreciate the support of MN, don't know what I would have done at times without it. Those that know my story on here probably know where I would be.....

Join me if you would like to rant, cry or have a bottle glass of wine xx

Thank you so much Jarlin. You have all helped me so much and continue to do so. The beginning of the year will be so hard for me but I am so grateful for the support I have on here, I cannot thank you all enough.

I remember questioning how strangers can be so kind to me when they don't know me and I think it was mamma who said that strangers care and are just people you haven't met yet. (apologies if I've got the wrong poster). The kindness and support has been immense.

Unfortunately you have to do it yourself but we are here to hold your hand, prop you up when you blip and get our hot pants/Pom poms out when you're cracking open the Beaujolais !

iPad stopped charging, needs a re boot via a computer that I no longer own Sad double Sad that DD is getting a furby boom that works via an app...

Wishing you all a fab 2014 Smile

Whatnext074 · 23/12/2013 22:50

I need to change my name Red - 'Merlotrising'?? I'll have a think....

OP posts:
redundantandbitter · 23/12/2013 23:10

Def name change!

I don't drink hardly at all, but succumbed to a bottle of pink fizzy stuff for Xmas day, look out for the typos and general spouting of shite for a change

Hope you all have a good day tomorrow. Chin up ladies.

mammadiggingdeep · 23/12/2013 23:55

Have been in the bubbly tonight whilst wrapping (cava 6.99 from tesco :) )

The wrapping is the worst I've ever done!!!

R and b hope your dd is ok and your night isn't too bad. Both mine gave chesty coughs but at least I'm not in work tomorrow...

Big love to you all ladies...

Ps- r and b, step away from bloody twitter! Evil, evil, evil!!

mammadiggingdeep · 23/12/2013 23:56

  • on the bubbly...

Don't think that one was a typo whatnext- think its down to the cava... Grin

Whatnext074 · 24/12/2013 00:00

Love the fact that you're 'in the cava' mamma! Good grief, I can only imagine your wrapping!!

OP posts:
mammadiggingdeep · 24/12/2013 00:12

Shocking wrapping...also think I've written the wrong dd's name on the wrong pressies a few times. Oh well...all good fun!

'In the cava'...being 'on' the cabs is so 2013. All the cool people will be 'in' the vino in 2014...

X

mammadiggingdeep · 24/12/2013 00:13

Cabs??? Oh time out. Too tipsy, too late, too fat fingered to type without typos.

I give up!! Niiiiittttttte Grin

Xx

Whatnext074 · 24/12/2013 00:17

Haha - night mamma x

OP posts:
mammadiggingdeep · 24/12/2013 00:19

:)
Well done for getting through today/night

You're doing great x

Walkacrossthesand · 24/12/2013 00:53

Late to the party but I've been lurking and sympathising, R&B (you're not either of those) and what (merlotrising sounds like a good start to 2014 - or 'handfulofcottonbuds' maybe?!)). Your exes have lost good women, more fool them. Cheers!

Whatnext074 · 24/12/2013 00:58

handfulofcottonbuds - I like that, makes me smile x

Hello again lovely x
How about only 8 more sleeps until a new year, a new start and new hope.
You have seen the back of a really shitty year. That's something to celebrate.
Your loveliness, warmth and determination will shine through. I hope you have a peaceful Christmas xxx
Keep posting. Your cheerleaders will prop you up and keep rooting for you xxx

Whatnext074 · 24/12/2013 11:13

Thank you mrscraig and a peaceful C/mas to you too xx

mammadiggingdeep · 24/12/2013 11:28

Christmas Eve headaches anyone?? I'm fuzzy!! :)

Whatnext074 · 24/12/2013 11:36

Well you were 'in' the cava!

Mine is a teeny bit fuzzy but I'm okay - wish I'd taken make off last night though.

How's your wrapping mamma? Will it do?

OP posts:
mumtosome61 · 24/12/2013 11:41

I salute you - all of you; that have come through the torrent of shit and smiling on the other side. I will raise a glass or five to you all.

(SHERLOCK LIVES)

mammadiggingdeep · 24/12/2013 11:46

Make mine a glass of orange juice please :)

The wrapping is shocking!! Haha! It does get tedious though...on slap dash at the best of times, let alone after 3/4 of a bottle of cava. Moral: never wrap when you've been 'in' the cava :)

Hope you're ok today what...just remember a few days then all this fake frivolity will be gone for another year!

redundantandbitter · 24/12/2013 12:24
