My DP doesn't like BJs

I feel a bit rubbish as we DTD tonight and I tried to get him a bit more excited as we are TTC and this is the forth night on the trot we have had sex.

He isn't massively comfortable talking about sex in detail, he is happy with dirty talk and innuendos but not breaking it down and talking about the mechanics of it to improve our sex life, techniques etc.

We've been together around three years and before him I was with a guy who loved them. So I guess my technique was what got previous partner off. Current partner doesn't like it and I feel a bit crap about it.

I just tried to post coitally discuss it and he clammed up on me. I imagine he is tired so I said should we talk about it another day and maybe we could try some different moves, a different touch or stroke and he just pulled a face.

Should I just accept some guys don't like oral or is it just he doesn't like the way i do it? I didn't ask that outright question yet did ask if he had ever received one he really enjoyed and he said yes Sad

Thanks sebsmummy, he never quite got over it and wasn't prepared to deal with it.

I agree that open dialogue is the best way forward, but it sounds like the OP is having difficulty getting her partner to respond. I was always shy about saying what I liked and didn't like until my DP started doing, it and I followed his lead.

Sorry to hijack this thread but I just can't help myself sometimes;

The poor woman posts an innocent if detailed thread stating a few things;

"we are TTC"
"We've been together around three years"
"our sex life is very good. We have lots of fun with it, lots if different positions, variety"
"we have a beautiful one year old who is the light if our lives"

So why on earth wouls some of you want to post things like this;

"Quite honestly I would stop TTC until you're on the same page sexually"
"the two of you sound completely mis-matched in every way"

OP, knock yourself out experimenting that's what it's all about, fun and experimentation. What better way to concieve.

I was more pissed off at being accused of trolling lol. If anyone cares to read my copious back posts they can see I'm a regular poster who contributes across the board.

Feel a bit better about it this morning Grin. I think I was feeling a bit 'late night sensitive'. I guess we all want to believe we are the best our partners have been with and it's a bit of an ego blow when you find out your not lol
