Eh? This board is about support for real people with real lives, not soap opera type entertainment....

There is no obligation for posters to keep us updated.

What miss said.

I was wondering too, mumma. It's not wrong to be concerned about a poster and to worry a bit about how things are going for them.

Of course there is no obligation for posters to keep us updated but when someone is obviously in distress it's only natural to think about what has happened and to be interested in the outcome. If we didn't do this there would be little point in anyone posting at all.

MissScatterbrain · 11/12/2013 10:01

Cutting - Op did not express concern or worry. Her post comes across as nosey and demanding.

cuttingpicassostoenails · 11/12/2013 10:18

It does read a bit that way, I agree but I often type a post and then think "oh shit, that sounds a bit off".

JRmumma · 11/12/2013 10:19

Apologies if my post came across like I was treating it as a soap opera, I just want to know what happened as I tend to worry about people on here as im well aware they are real people with real problems and like to know if they came to a positive conclusion or not.

I'm not denying that there is an element of curiosity, im only human after all, but im most certainly not trivializing the posters issues.

I was also trying to post in a way that didn't give too much info about the poster away, incase it had been removed due to concerns of being identifiable.

Don't worry about it mumma. It's easy to get it wrong on mumsnet! I often read a thread and then wonder what happened next...it's natural.

Anyway...nosiness/curiosity is part and parcel of being human.

I am VERY human!
