Why aren't I as nice to dh as I am to friends?

I would love some insight. I am much more forgiving and loving to my friends and less so to my dh. I love him so much but I am often up tight and critical at home but not with friends. Why do I do this?? I want to be a good wife to him and he deserves more loving

I can be similar. It's because I "have" to be polite to friends otherwise they won't be my friend any more! (and yes, I am about 6 years old Grin)

DH has proved that he pretty much loves me and is there for me however grumpy I am.

I try to remember this Maya Angelou quotation. She is my go-to woman for inspirational words:

“If you have only one smile in you, give it to the people you love. Don't be surly at home, then go out in the street and start grinning 'Good morning' at total strangers.”
