What to do now the kids don't need a baby sitter

The kids don't need baby sitters anymore and you have your life back. What do other 40 something parents do? Right now I am dieting so eating out isn't an option, fed up with the cinema every weekend. I'm not a drinker so wouldn't spend all night standing in a pub and all our friends work away so right now it's just us. So what do other people do on Friday and Saturday nights ?

I had DC3 aged 44. I'm now 46. By the time he does not need a babysitter I shall be too old and knackered to do anything! But I'm truly loving every minute now.

My mum had my sister when she was 42 and it's definitely kept her younger. So enjoy,
