My DH for a whole week.

told him so too. i thought i would share my new found tactic.

he begged me not to be him.

i've done fuck all since sunday.

he keeps saying "stop it"

dinner plate - still on table
house is a hole.
gave him missed gas contractor appt card - told him to arrange a time for when he can organise ( not do but organise) the tidying up - or else the landlords can force entry and make us pay for door. " leave it to you then" says i.

i quite like his life actually. come home. expect him to be home first therefore make the meal - usually means washing up pans from night before becuase that doesn't happen often. come straight in eat, come on computer - play with my invisible mn friends

watch bb
dont wash up
dont brew
dont shift stuff - and most importantly dont tell anyone else to.

( am getting fucked off at the mess though) still i enjoy this new found selfishness.

LOL. I do this to my DP as well when I get hacked off. Stopped shouting, just do FA instead. ,Gets point across and I hav e fun in the meantime. The mess is hard to live with but worth it when they finally cave and start clearing up!
Enjoy!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 27/06/2006 23:28

Ah yes, this tactic works like a dream doesnt it?

quanglewangle · 27/06/2006 23:30

lol, then rofl until pmsl

Amiable · 27/06/2006 23:48

Oooh, fab idea!! Dp is usually pretty good, but since I have been on maternity leave has become decidedly slack on the housework front. I know I'm at home most of the day, but I'm not exactly sat on my backside, as I am sure you all understand! I may well have to try this tactic myself, see if I can get him to hoover!

The knack of being a dh is believing that just bcause you deserve a rest you can actually have one.

Remember that and you won't go wrong.
