Solos Holidays - the company. Anyone have any experience? Any good for making new friends/relationships?

An acquaintance has mentioned a wonderful holiday she had with Solos in Cyprus. She's very outgoing and would make friends anywhere - I'm less so but I try hard to be smiley

I'd never heard of this company and wondered if anyone had any experience of them.

I booked a holiday with them about 11 years ago. Cancelled it as I started going out with DH shortly afterwards

I've heard good reports from friends who have been,a bit of a lottery as to the type of crowd you get on your particular holiday but that's the same with them all I guess.Friendship Travel also do a similar kind of thing,they have a website with a forum on it,good for hearing the opions and experiences of people who've actually been on the breaks.Good luck!

I've been on a short holiday with 'just you', and some of my fellow travellers had done solos holidays - sounded fine, I expect I'll use them one day! I prefer these specialist singles holiday companies because (a) you're not the only single in a sea of couples (b) no single room supplement. Have a great holiday!
