Just thinking about different past experiences... including a female work colleague that is one of those and she is not happy doing it but its almost compulsive . She seems to think that she can stop when she finds the right man. But I am also thinking other experiences and pobderibg why it does happen and if a person can change if they find the right partner.

I wouldn't say 'if they find the right partner' because that implies that it is something their previous or current partners have or haven't done that is at fault and if only they could be what the person needs - they wouldn't have to cheat.

If someone chooses to be unfaithful, that's about them. Not the person they're with.

Yes, they can change. If they change themselves, not if they find someone who is going to magically turn them into the sort of person who doesn't screw around.

Thanks for all the replirs. its has given me a lot of ways of talking about this to her. I might should judt stop hanging out with her but thats not the kind of person I am and the phrase someone said "the slapper all decent men will avoid" might make her think, because I would hate that to happen to her. She is good fun and I would like to see her happy.
