My DH would be quite keen I think
So long as he doesn't have to talk about football, beer or cars because he doesn't really do them - he gets quite cross when people assume he must be into football/sports/driving just because he's male.

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 17/05/2006 13:21

I wouldnt let my dh anywhere near mumsnet! Shock

blueamema · 17/05/2006 13:48

why not DragonSlayer??

arfy... unfortunately my dh would be very interested in talking about footbal, but he's also into all kinds of other things, cooking, SFX, movies etc .... and of course top of the list is his dd who he worships!

redbull.... am going to do as you've suggested and start a thread for dad's to see how much response there is. There must be more out there somewhere.

Hey b, have posted on your thread. It's \link{http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=1374&threadid=174251\here}

Smile

The instructions for you to do links are in the yellowish box at the bottom of the page. Basically type '\link{' and then copy & paste the URL you want to use, then hit it with a backslash: '' then text you want as the hyperlink and close it with a curly: }

HTH, and forgive me in advance for tickling your apostrophes. I have to tickle apostrophes cos I find football booooooooring.

Wink
TambaTheDragonSlayer · 17/05/2006 15:03

Because this is where I come to moan about him! Grin

And also wouldnt want him knowing all my secrets Wink

blueamema · 17/05/2006 15:17

Thanks for posting thread link for me hub2dee

I would say you can tickle my apostrophes any time you like .... but I would'nt want to upset Mrs hub2dee

Dragon slayer ... totally understand.

But my hub knows I'm always moaning about him and pretty much knows all my secrets too (how boring is that?)

why dont you start a site yourself and make alot of money! PS Im not a dad!

Twiglett · 17/05/2006 19:17

the thing with Dads chatting is that they don't really .. well not in the main .. check out any blokey site .. look at the forum .. its full of lists and I've got / am getting this blah blah

the blokes who come on here are on a higher plane and able to hold a conversation

a dads' thread would die a death .. a death of a thousand boring lists Grin

hub2dee · 17/05/2006 19:25

... Smashes to floor and grunts, scratches mangarden spring bulbs, scanning room for pedigree bitches with high-sheen coats and well-developed forequarters...

zippitippitoes · 17/05/2006 19:26

hub2dee · 17/05/2006 19:37

I'm only around 12 days old. You're disgusting. Angry

Grin

Can't believe you can't remember who you did the dirty with. You must sure get around the kennel...

I'm not sure how to find dog histories. I think hunker gave birth today too !

Oh, and you'd remember if it was me.... Supersize, LOL !

Enjoy the footie, and try not to puncture any balls, and don't chase any cars as they drive past. That is bl00dy annoying.
