so annoying when that sort of thing happens Juliette but it's just the nature of the beast...had you seen many photo's before you met him

What 1 minute, is this the shortest date in history Grin

Ok back in car, previous posts came through together. He was 10 mins late, I'd got my coffee. When he came in I only knew it was him because he said hello. Very, very old pics or maybe a brother. Immediately gave me the creeps and I almost left right away because of pics. I lasted maybe 10 minutes. very upset with myself for answering star sign question as I don't like the idea of him knowing anything about me. Very creepy man, something wrong there definitely. I sat in m&S food hall to get away, he actually came in there (by ccoincidence I think).

Hope you're ok, Juliette, it sounds horrendous. Are you starting to feel a little better yet ?

Ah 48 we're meeting in a city centre pub and restaurant, he will be behaving himself, you, on the other hand, make sure you really don't behave yourself.

Have fun with Mr Nice, Miranda.

Have a lovely night everyone, whether you're dating or not.

(He's now meeting me at the train station - keen )

I'm home, I bought comfort dinner and have changed to forget it all. It did upset me, sort of shock reaction, he was very weird. he had a bald head except for 4 in long hair around the sides and back, all sticking out and bloodshot eyes. What I thought was funny/ironic was simply obtuse, he meant what he was saying Hmm

You should be proud of yourself Juliette that you had the good sense not to sit through a 'date' and got out of there as soon as possible.

You trusted your instincts and were not too invested to ignore your foreboding, you did the right thing.

It can be a horrible feeling though, to encounter an emotional/socially fucked up person. Bet you need a shower. bleurgh!

Spence it's so very new, it's bound to feel odd. It will get better, you won't think twice about it soon. When are you seeing your son?

Good luck Nora and have a great time Miranda and 48

Juliette hope you're ok now.

Wonder how Noras's getting on with Showbiz...I can't help picturing him now as a 50 something Leslie Phillips with a blazer and cravat (and a beard of course) Grin

I'm in a good mood. This worries me because (being the fatalist that I am...one thing I inherited from my Italian Nanna) I expect that if I am feeling happy - especially over nothing in particular - something is imminently about to go 'wrong' Confused will probably be up til 6am tonight or something

In the taxi on the way back, really very sorry Juliette that you had that kind of experience, I hope you've re-discovered your equilibrium a little after some time at home.

I am, what could be described as 'drunk-ish', he's a bit of a smoothie really, not at all my kind of thing, wouldn't fancy him if I saw him. He's terribly attentive, a bit worldy, a bit old school. He spent some time moving my fringe away from my eyes, did a bit of hand holding. We kissed outside the station. He can kiss, and to borrow a phrase I read on another thread, he certainly set my fanny a-flutter ( I'm only being quite so basic due to alcohol and needing a shag ). Seeing him when he comes down south in May - fnarrrrr

First time I've snogged two men in one week since the very early 90s. Polishes Jezebel Badge.

Oh Doom Thinking is easy but a bag of shite, OWW. A passionate man is a wonderful, wonderful thing.

Whoever mentioned a cocktail with elderflower liqueur and champagne, during one of our 'darkened room' sessions, thank you, it was bloody lovely ( hic) .

Apparently Showbiz wants to kiss me for 'hours. Minimum'.
My treacherous libido says ' hell yeah'

Juliette, hope you are feeling okay this morning.

The Jezebel Badge is mine Kin, I'd wondered where it had got to...Wink

Wine, a man with passion about life is a good thing. My DS loves Plan B, he bought me the cd

Oh and Kin of course we are still twins, only I wear flats, I am the tall twin 5' 8". Funny though my men seem to really like me in heels, I have been given 'boudoir heels/boots'Blush

Have suspended my Match account, although subscription is still valid, such a waste of time...
