Do you think it's true that people stop finding each other attractive after 3 years?

I don't think it is always true, but for me it has been true in some relationships.

No, DH and I have been together for 28 years. I still fancy the pants off him, and last night he told me that he was proud as he thought I looked beautiful. Grin

Well I still fancy the pants off my husband and it's been 7 years.

He seems to still fancy me a lot too.

Not for me either! Still fancy the pants off DH, always did (12 years)

after 14 years together my DW gets more gorgeous every day

amillionyears · 02/03/2013 20:22

Definitely not.

No

I used to joke about having a two year limit with boyfriends where I tended to lose interest and wander off about that time. Grin

We are now on five years (and two children) and while I can look at him objectively and see that he is attractive and I do get that rush when I hug him and kind of smell him (sounds weird but you know what I mean) things are feeling a bit flat in that department on my side at the moment which is a real shame and something I will have to work on. The drudgery and mundanity of daily life with toddlers I suppose! And being a generally fickle woman.

Have been together with DH for 9 years nearly. Haven't always liked him, have had some real ups and downs. But I have always fancied him, and still do Grin

Shagmundfreud · 02/03/2013 20:53

Been with DH for nearly 20 years. He's incredibly attractive to me still and I love him to bits. I still get a lovely feeling when I touch him and kiss him.

JambalayaCodfishPie · 02/03/2013 20:56

Nope. I find him less attractive when he has a beard and needs a shave - but it's always a nice suprise when he shaves it off. Grin

Definitely not true.
