what's the name of that course for people who can't leave an abusive relationship??

is it something like lighthouse or freedom? i have googled and i can't find it. it's not for me. trying to research for somebody whse friend is about to marry an abusive man.

But if she is about to marry him, clearly she doesn't see him as abusive, and I don't see how she will voluntarily sign herself up for a course whose stated aim is to get women to free themselves from the effects of (past) abusive relationships.

She has to come to the conclusion that he is abusive , and that she wants out, herself.

I know, it's pretty hopeless really, she is going to sign herself her for a lifetime of misery, but she has a friend who is going to try and talk her out of it, if she can. I think she knows he's abusive, but he's not abusive all the time. sigh. Her poor friend.
