DH and I have been trying to revitalise our lovelife recently... and try a few new things. Neither of us has ever tried any sex toys of any kind but I wonder whether it might be something to try. I don't really know where to start - Bit of an innocent!!! Anyone got any recommendations for things which might spice things up or at least make us try something new, without being too full on! Suggestions greatfully received!

Can't believe you have never had a vibrator!! Get to Ann summers and buy a bullet Wink

cupcake78 · 06/01/2013 20:32

Look on the Internet and go for something that you don't think looks too scaryWink

Ann summers Rabbits are good, or their vibrating cock ring is fab for both involved, also invest in cock rub or pussy rub, they stimulate ya bits and makes it more of an exploration of each other. Be warned they quite expensive but great fun. Go together or look online together so you don't "surprise" each other too much.

Northumberlandlass · 06/01/2013 20:44

Seriously stay away from Anne Summers. Far better selection & prices at Love Honey (google it).
They are fantastic!
Smile
Enjoy.

I second love honey

iirc you can send stuff back up to a year later if you don't like it.

I'm not mad about rabbits, I like bullets, I have a rather nice g-spot vibe that is very quiet, I would stay away from noisy stuff in general but that's just me.

dequoisagitil · 06/01/2013 20:48

Love honey

MajesticWhine · 06/01/2013 20:49

This is my recommendation.

Seriously, get one

2Tired2GiveaShit · 07/01/2013 00:17

Thats the very same vibrating cock ring I was referring too! Weve had ours for 5 yrs and it is brilliant...
As majestic says... Seriously, get one

TheMidnightHour · 07/01/2013 09:54

Benefit of going into Ann Summers is you can often switch them on - finding out how much they vibrate/how loud they are can be handy if you have no idea.

If your local doesn't do this, you can ask them to recommend a rep - they'll be happy to come to your home and be able to show you the different types and should be able to talk about them (but may not) but they will expect you to buy something (they only get commission) and AS is more expensive than the internet.

BumgrapesofWrath · 07/01/2013 09:58

Definitely a bullet is a good starting point!

sjcmum · 08/01/2013 20:49

Thanks - I like the idea of things that we can use together.... will put forward some suggestions to DH and see what he reckons...

Can you try before you buy?

Do you get a warranty that they will deliver the goods?

Maybe you want one of these...

I'd start off with a vibrator that's a bit narrow and not too long Blush and something for the outer bits Blush again. Vibrating cock ring as well... I also agree with other posters that Love Honey is a very good company. They do a fantastic lubricant called liquid silk too.

AKissIsNotAContract · 08/01/2013 23:39

You can buy liquid silk much cheaper here:

Any fucker spits on my bits and he's out of my bed.

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 07/02/2013 01:15

On a slightly more positive note, if you're using condoms as contraception, DO NOT use mineral-oil based lubricants such as baby oil. They rot the rubber.

And Liquid Silk, as mentioned previously, is good, but others are worth playing with.
