Relate - has anyone used the phone counselling line?

Rather than face-to-face? I think it would be easier to arrange, but would go for face-to-face if I thought it would be more effective. I assume the price is the same, though the website isn't clear about that. TIA

Only been for face-to-face, but I would imagine it is more effective than over the phone as there is a lot the counsellor can tell about your relationship from your body language and expressions, that they wouldn't necessarily pick up over the phone.

Thanks for that Molton. I'm going to be going on my own, so I guess body language is a bit less relevant. Can i ask if you found it helpful?

Definitely. Helped hugely. Have written about it in an earlier thread

(sorry don't know how to link but is in this section, last post 31st March, thread name is " Relate - experiences, views, opinions please!")

Hope it helps you :)
