I have been with my partner for nearly 2 years and during this time Ive noticed he is a 'dreamer' rather than a "doer"...he wants all these big holidays but never attempts to save, he wants a new job but never looks for one, he wants to buy his own house but never does anything about it...

The latest one is that he wants to join the police. I know the medical is pretty gruelling but he reckons his mate has told him that its easy so he's making no effort to change his terrible diet (bacon sandwich every morning, King size McDonalds every day and fried or freezer food every night) and he does NO excercise at all. He isnt morbidly obese but he is overweight yet he has such high hopes of "walking into the police" when he decides that the time is right.

Does anyone have any experience of joining the police or their medicals etc?
Also, am I being harsh in getting annoyed with him expecting life on a plate all the time???

but the letters were lower case and now you have caps so that means you've changed your name but kept the same name iyswim - just looks a bit odd
