Yes I've used it. The advantage was that I could quickly and anonomously put my problem 'out there' at a time when arranging anything face to face felt too daunting.

But the disadvantage was that it felt a slow and laborious way of dealing with stuff, after one or two emails, and it's not that cheap.

I realised email isn't the best way for me to sort out complicated issues, that's best done over the phone or face to face, but I'm glad I tried it, or I wouldn't have known that.

I think it was a fairly safe and unthreatening way in to addressing a problem, and that was a good thing.

Good luck with whatever you decide.
