Had a great night out last night, been seeing him about a month or so now. Spent the night together last week.
Know him 13 yrs as friend, just over a month as dating.
He was relaxing, bopping, grinning, it was great to see and in the moment I said "theres the ?Jimbob? I know and love" as soon as I said it I thought shit have I just told him I love him by accident. But he replied "does that mean there's a me that u don't know and love?" I replied honestly "yes u are a complete enigma most of the time....as for the L word there's only one way to find out" (in my drunken haze thinking along the lines of u say it first) but he replied "I think we've taken it as far as we could" and then disappeared to the bar and the moment was lost and I was left thinking. What does he mean? Is he saying this is as far as he's commiting or is he referring to us having slept together in a hitting last base kinda way?
Would u give it a second thought?

I decided I couldn't wait (yes I know, I'm useless at playing aloof!)
He said "relax, it was a chance remark after a couple of beers.
Then he started singing "Don't be afraid there's no need to worry, coz my feelings for you are still strong- hold me in your arms, and never let me go , hold me in your arms coz I need u so, I can see it in your eyes , there is something- something u want to tell me, I can see it in your eyes there is something,- something you have for me"
That is quite possibly the sweetest and weirdest thing a bloke has even done!

Seriously, if you really like him... Give it a fair chance and reasses in a couple of months :)

My husband declared undying love only three weeks after we met. It alarmed me somewhat although i felt the same. My advice would be to relax and drop the subject, its only been a month after all.....and they dobt just serenade anybody either!

I would sit down and have it out with him don't say u love him just say that u would llike something to come out of it not just friends with benefits!! X

It is easy to over interpret one comment. I think just try and enjoy it, have some fun, don't try and push for any more at the moment. Next few weeks will probably tell you if he sees this as casual or serious.
As for the original comment, you could have interpreted that as... We haven't been together long enough to say "I love you"

Take a step back, don't rush it or him, be an enigma to him! let him do some chasing....still enjoy it all the same.
