Crikey just had some shocking news about my evil MIL!

Goodness knows I've bored enough of you with tales of my nasty MIL.

I have just had an e mail from my dh who had an e mail from his dad this morning saying that after 40 years with her he's leaving her (for someone he's known for a month!)

I cannot beileve it, what's more surprising is my reaction - I do actually feel sorry for her - she knows nothing yet apparently.

Not really although I did have some respect for him when he attended our wedding even though MIL did not.

She really is a vile woman but Shock I do feel a little worried about how she will take the news. She's always very openly (for the last 10 years) gone on about meeting someone else as he dh was a prat and she wanted rid....and look now!

Poor cow, maybe they have both been unhappy in their marraige and maybe now they both have an oppertunity to be happier (and she might be nicer now). Don't envy you though!

I'm sure your MIL is no dream but fgs 40 years of marriage thrown away for someone he's known a month .. is he going senile?

Moondog...that's FIL all over.
He even had the cheek to ask dh to look after mum and sort everything out and she'll be quite upset and it was my dh's duty to look after her ffs.

Very, very like him.

hmm My dad left my mum after 40yrs of marriage. My uncle has just left my aunt after 40yrs of marriage... must be something in the water! Grin

Twiglet despite the fact that he did show us some respect and support by coming to our wedding that's how I feel. I can't believe that he could be so certain but apparently he thinks he's found his soulmate.

Honestly he has no idea. they were both forced into an arranged marriage and he has no idea about new relationships etc.

Cheesecake - never a truer word spoken. Apparently everything that has happened which has been awful to her has been as a direct result of dh marrying me....hmmm including her and her dh not sharing a bedroom together for the last 25 years

???????Right....

dreading her finding out - partly it's how it's going to affect me I have to be honest and also I really wouldn't wish it on anyone, no matter how vile they were.
I'm obviously a soft touch.
