How long were you and your OH together before you a) got married and b) moved in together?

Just curious

Got married between DC2 and DC3, so 3 years (to the day) after getting together.

Joins Hecate and spiffysquiffy in the reckless naughty corner Still going strong 13 years later.

Met in the February, became friends, started dating and "moved in" together in the August (actually just split our time between our 2 houses), engaged in the December, I moved into his house the following March and we were married the following August.

So 12 months as a couple before getting hitched and 18 months of knowing each other. :)

Just under 2 years.

Moved in together after 5 months, married after 11 years and 3 children!

Moved in together after a year, got engaged after 5 years together

Had our first child on the 10 year anniversary of our first snog!!!

We've been together 2 years. Moving in together before Christmas (hopefully). Getting married next year (hopefully). No children together.

Were together for 3 years before living together and 8 years before marrying felt like I waited a long time to get married! Been married 2.5 years now

We met in 1997, when I was at university.

We moved in 16 months later, when my university course had finished.

We married after we had been together 4 years & 4 months.

It took this long for us to buy a house (we bought after renting for 7 months, but the house needed a fair bit doing to it ) and then to save up for the wedding. We married with no debt. I guess we could have married sooner, but I was terribly sensible

Moved in after eight months. Got married after three years.

Practically moved in as soon as i met my DH to be. Lived together properly after two months, together for 22 years until i was widowed.

This is going to sound ridiculous, but I met my boyfriend through some mutual friends and moved in with him the day I met him... we've now been together 2 years and have a newborn

We lived together before we were a couple, as he was helping me out with rent after I kicked debt running up cheating bastard ex out.
Got engaged after three months, married the day after we'd been together a year.
