How long do you have to wait to divorce if there's no DV involved?

I have heard its two years separated i will be entitled to legal aid but he also heard next year legal aid will not be available any more.

If one year has elapsed since the date of the marriage, there's no reason why you cannot file for divorce now citing unreasonable behaviour and you're best advised to do so as it is intended that from April of next year legal aid will only be available in cases of dv where the petitioner satisfies the financial requirements of entitlement.
