Whoa...what's happened to my ladies love zone? Blush I had a baby at home in a birthing pool seven weeks ago, and I don't know if I'm expecting too much too soon, but we had sex last night and I didn't really feel very much. My bits felt as if they had increased by several sizes! My husband (though very sensitive) remarked that 'it did feel a bit wider down there!'Can I just ask, is this forever or just a temporary measure while my bits recover, or am I to be blighted with a massive mary all my life?! Grin
I didn't have any problems with the birth - no stitches or epesiotomy and I have been doing pelvic floor exercises.Any tips, tales or advice would be gratefully received. Thanks Wink Sorry if you read this twice. I've also posted on health.

Don't worry, you probably won't always be Mrs Massive Mary (and if you are, hey, it's a great name!) keep up with the exercises, it can take a good 6 months to get back to normal down there... I think you can buy special muscle building 'cones' from Boots too..

dont worry its perfectly normal and no you want have a massive mary for ever.
i remember that when i first had sex after my first child, my then partner said it was like chucking a welly down the street! charming, one thing to try though, is to squeeze your partners love tool during sex, it wont be long before he jumps out of his skin when you do it, its great for strengthening the pelvic floor Grin

crazydazy · 05/03/2006 21:49

Mine was more like a passive mary than a massive mary

Don't worry - do your excercises and you will be Mary Mary Tight Contrary in no time.

Sorry SS, but am LMAO at all the euphemisms here!!!! Grin

It should settle down again. I didnt have this problem so much with my first mind you as the consultant didnt do the best job in stitching me back up and i found that there was more scar tissue (which doesnt stretch so much Blush)
