I don't have to do it often, I have manage to keep my little family to ourselves and only visit those we like and who in turn like us.

Respect to all that manage to stop themselves screaming and crying at the little remarks and digs that wear you down over visits.

I survived this weekend and I wanted to salute all that do it on a regular basis.

You are very welcome Miss

For you MyDog Wine Great name btw.

Fortunatly my mother wasn't there, it was fortunate because my aunt takes that role in robust and monitors my every move or lack of it. A holiday should'nt include DH looking after OUR DC whilst I read or have a sneaky gin because he works very hard even though she didn't know I have been back to work full time for a good few years now Hmm

Sorry massive fail, I got the date my sister was coming wrong and gave her a mouthful for hurtful comments.

Both my fault. I wasn't really paying attention when she rang to organise her visit. DDs making life complicated.

Hurtful comments quite true, but unnecessary. She's fed up, no DH, no DCs, too old now and stuck looking after nice but aged parents. Works for the public service so her salary, peanuts to start with, is frozen.

I just wasn't in the mood for being used to let of steam.

Here you go Star Wine you can't take it all the time - DSis not Wine of course Grin

I did 3 days and cried last night - not to their face but on DH, how can people not realise how nasty they come across or do they just not care??
