It was DD 's Brownie promise tonight and one of my nights so STBX texted and asked if he'd be able to call her afterwards. I felt bad that he was missing out and asked if he wanted to come along .. It doesn't mean I consider him a friend or forgive him for the way he treated me.. It was a bit of 'well if it was me I'd like to be asked' and also for DD.

Of course he swans in comes and sits beside me and starts chatting away as though he's my best pal .. I responded 'hmm' a couple of times but didn't engage or even make eye contact.. he soon got the message

Had to endure sitting like this for 15 mins!! Why oh why did I even suggest it??

Anyone else do similarly stupid and soft headed things?

Yes, many times Kirsty. Was far too soft with my dickhead ex at times. I got better eventually Grin
