Dh dropped and broke one of those large Coke glasses on the kitchen floor and tried to use the hoover to clear it up.
He discovered the belt has gone on it YET AGAIN so immediately accuses me and says "oh you must have lost your temper with it" the bloody belt KEEPS going on it and it keeps getting bits of nylon trapped in the brush thing at the bottom. I told him i hadnt lost my temper with it at all but he insisted i must have done.
Before Christmas the handle came off and i didnt know how to fix it so i just used it bent over double since then. So of course when he picked it up just now it came off but it turns out there was a clip right inside i didnt know about which held the handle in so ive been struggling since Christmas unnecessarily.
Every fuckin time the thing goes wrong its made out to be my fault and im fed up with it.
After i said it wasnt he said "well ok then it wasnt" then a few minutes later "but i bet you did lose your rag with it though"
And then i start to say something and then get told that his blood pressure is rising and that he doesnt feel well. He does have ischemic heart disease.
Im fuckin fed up with taking the blame every time that bloody thing goes wrong.

Treat yourself to a new one

ImperialBlether · 12/02/2012 18:15

He tried to hoover up glass? Are you meant to do that?

tethersend · 12/02/2012 18:17

Have you thought about lino?

carernotasaint · 12/02/2012 18:23

We cant really afford to buy a new one. We used to have a Dyson many years ago but that went wrong because of it having to pick up hairs where ive brushed my long thick hair.
